Do you take requests?

If you are looking for a particular game or console, we would be happy to source stock for you. Please send us an inquiry with details.

Can I play this game on my console?

Depending on the console, Japanese games will not work on consoles of a different region. Please check out the comparability page for more information.

Are your products brand new?

While we do stock items that are brand new, most of our games are second hand. Please check the product description.

What kind of condition are your games in?

The condition of the item is stated on the product page. The majority of our items are second hand, so be sure to check the photos and description of the condition before making a purchase.

Do your game carts have working backup batteries?

We do not guarantee the function of backup batteries since most games are 10 to 20 years old. However, they are easily replaceable. We are able to provide some resources on how to replace them.

Where are your products shipped from?

All of our products are shipped from Nagoya, Japan.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Shipping times take approximately 1 – 2 weeks, though vary depending on destination. Check the estimated shipping time for the shipment method you chose. Please be aware that due to COVID-19, there are significant delays in shipping.

What if I need to change my shipping address?

Please contact us, and we’ll update your shipping address.

Can I cancel my order?

In general, once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. There are exceptions to this rule, however a restocking fee applies. We cannot cancel orders that have been shipped.

Is this website safe to shop?

Be rest assured that we are a legitimate small business. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an inquiry. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, credit card payments through Stripe, and cryptocurrency payments.

Can I return my order?

Returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Returns must be authorized by Nagoya Retro staff, and must be sent back to us within 7 days after delivery. We bear no responsibility for the fees associated with the return. 

In addition, the following conditions apply in order for a return to be accepted:

  • Items must be complete, and undamaged
  • A postal service that includes tracking must be used
  • A print out of your invoice must be included

Refunds will be processed once the item(s) have been received, and it is confirmed that they meet the conditions above. Failure to meet the above conditions will result in refunds not being processed

A restocking fee of 15% applies, with a minimum charge of $10 USD.

The item I ordered doesn't work/is broken

In the unlikely event that the item you ordered is defective, we’ll ask you to describe the issue and do our best to resolve the matter.

If a return in organized, Nagoya Retro shall assume responsibility for the cost of the return postage. Customers are asked to return their item via registered mail. In addition, no restocking fee shall apply.
